Ford Bronco Sport Sasquatch Package Likely to Arrive August 26

Ford has plans for something “big” Bronco Sportand the teaser video suggests it could be an off-road-focused model The Snowman Package similar to what Ford offers for the larger Bronco.

A video posted to Ford's social media pages on Monday shows the Bronco Sport's tailgate covered in mud. big hairy hand as you might find in the supposed creature known as the Sasquatch (or Bigfoot) then appears and writes the date August 26th on the dirt.

The Snowman Package The Bronco adds off-road features, including 35-inch tires, locking front and rear differentials, and Bilstein shocks. Similar items are likely planned for the Bronco Sport package, perhaps toned down a bit to suit the smaller SUV.

The most capable Bronco Sport right now is the Badlands. Ford also offers Black Diamond Off-Road Package for Big Bend and Outer Banks models.

Disguised prototypes for A more capable Bronco Sport have already been spotted. They appear to have more ground clearance than the current Bronco Sport, as well as a unique wheel design and Goodyear Territory RT tires instead of the Falken Wildpeak AT tires currently offered on the Bronco Sport.

The same prototypes also feature revised interiors that feature a larger infotainment screen, meaning Ford is likely preparing an update for the Bronco Sport lineup, in addition to the Sasquatch package.

Given the timing of the reveal, the updated Bronco Sport with the Sasquatch package will likely be introduced in the U.S. as a 2025 model year.
