A new survey by Eficaz Pesquisa e Tecnologia released this Monday (21/10) shows that David Almeida (Avante) remains the leader in the 2024 elections. Less than a week before the second round, the Mayor of Manaus emerged with 47.3% intention to vote, compared to 41% for Alberto Neto.
Analyzing the legal votes, the dispute turns increasingly in favor of David Almeida. The survey achieved 53.5% voting intent, compared to 51.0% in the previous survey conducted between October 10 and 12. On the other hand, Alberto Neto experienced a decrease in legitimate voting intentions, from 49.0% to 46.5%.
The development of these figures shows that David Almeida showed a significant increase compared to the last survey, namely an increase of 2.5 percentage points among valid votes. On the other hand, Alberto Neto experienced a decline in popularity of 2.5 percentage points in the same period.

With 802 interviews conducted between October 16 and 18, the research, registered with the High Election Court (TSE) under number AM-03004/2024, has a margin of error of 3.5% and a confidence level of 95%.
