Despite international criticism, Iran continues to work on its drone program. Now the country has unveiled another model – one that reportedly has a range of thousands of kilometers.
Iran unveiled the latest version of the kamikaze drone at a military parade in Tehran. According to state broadcaster IRIB, the “Shahed 136-B” has a range of 4,000 kilometers and is said to be one of the most progressive drones in the world. According to Iran, they have made great progress in drone production in recent years.
Iran cooperates militarily with Moscow
They are also said to have played a central role for the Russian aggressor in the Ukrainian war. However, Tehran has vehemently denied this. According to the Foreign Ministry, Iran is cooperating militarily with Moscow, but this has nothing to do with the war in Ukraine. Tehran also claims that it has always advocated an immediate end to the war in Ukraine and also supports diplomatic negotiations.
