After the death of singer Liam Payne was revealed on Wednesday, October 16, in Buenos Aires, Argentina, this Saturday the fans of Comarca Lagunera met in the Venustiano Carranza Forest, at Juárez Avenue and C Street in the city of Torreón, to honor him with a memorial, where they placed photos of former members of British-Irish boyband One Direction.
Dressed in white, dozens of girls gathered, accompanied by family and friends, to say a final goodbye to Payne. Letters, balloons and flowers decorated the area. They put photos and posters on two clotheslines. One by one, the girls approached the altar to place an object or say a few words to it.
The atmosphere was full of empathy and understanding, accompanied by music by One Direction. Some girls brought ingredients to share with others and handed out souvenirs.
