Former presidential candidate, Xóchitl Gálvez dedicated an extensive message to Claudia Sheinbaum, president of Mexico, in which she wished her and her country the best.
“I hope you have a good government that can leave behind elections in the states you used to rule, and that you govern with truth.”
Xóchitl made several requests to the president to pay attention to various cases such as the search for mothers, workers in Justice, the eradication of corruption and the search for clean energy.
The message did not go down well with Senator Lilly Téllez who demanded that Gálvez “oppose with determination and dignity.”
“No, Xochitl, it is not right to wish Sheinbaum success, because if everything goes well for him, everything will be bad for Mexico.
It's irrelevant that she's a woman, what's important is that she doesn't respect democracy or freedom.
“We must oppose with determination and dignity its destructive continuity.”
Téllez wrote in a message on the network.
Furthermore, in another publication, he assured that a lukewarm attitude was enough because 4T was detrimental to the country.
Lilly Téllez has been one of the most critical senators in López Obrador's administration during his six-year term and promised that she would continue to do the same in Sheinbaum's administration.
