Manaus recorded eight rain-related incidents in the last 24 hours


Manaus City Hall responded to eight incidents on Friday evening (27), and early Saturday, 28, through the Municipal Civil Defense 199 Center, which operates 24 hours a day at the headquarters of the Municipal Cooperation Center (CCC).

These incidents include flooding, erosion, collapse, roofs and inspection requests, in the North, East and South-Central areas of Manaus, due to the rain that hit the city on Friday night and Saturday morning.

The request was conveyed to the field team of the Executive Secretariat for Municipal Civil Protection and Defense (Sepdec), which is linked to the Municipal Secretariat for Public Security and Social Defense (Semseg), which responded quickly to the affected areas.

If an incident occurs, to get immediate assistance, residents can contact via Dial 199 (Civil Defense), at the City Cooperation Center (CCC), which operates 24 hours a day.
