Cuauhtémoc, Chih.- Governor Maru Campos presided over the Annual Assembly of the United Producers Network in Cuauhtémoc, which reported that more than 1,500 farmers and ranchers had become creditors and were promoted with various agricultural inputs.

So far this year alone, farmers in the municipalities of Namiquipa, Guerrero, Cuauhtémoc, Bachíniva, Riva Palacio, Cusihuiriachi and Gómez Farías have benefited from more than 10,000 grants, thanks to a joint investment of more than 107 million pesos.

The country's leader explained in his speech that he was working on strategies and actions to strengthen attention to the damage caused by the lack of rain in the state: “I kept my promise, my pain and sadness turned into hope, to move forward. to rural Chihuahua,” he said.

He added that the beginning of his administration was complicated due to inherited public debt, but through the strategies implemented, today the resources used to pay interest are already earmarked for the benefit of rural Chihuahua.

It is worth noting that the State Government has invested nearly 490 million pesos to address the negative impacts caused by the drought, by providing timely inputs to respect agricultural cycles, and not disrupt harvests.
