This funding complements the increased budget for tourism in the region, which now totals €22 million in 2024, doubling the amount compared to four years previously.

Record-breaking tourism figures in recent years reflect the success of Murcia's tourism strategy, with visitor numbers and overnight stays exceeding historic highs. Forecasts for 2024 indicate continued growth, with almost 2 million tourists expected to visit the region.
