Jaehyun from NKT released his debut solo album “J”, as well as a video for the title track “Smoke”.
NCT's Jaehyun made his official solo debut today (August 26) with the release of his first album 'J', led by the single 'Smoke'. The accompanying music video for the song, which was released alongside the album, shows Jaehyun battling an invisible entity that seems to be stalking him.
“I got smoke / Wait, you're too hot, too hot / Smoke coming out of the boombox / Wait, you're too hot, too hot / Smoke coming out of the boombox” He sings passionately in the chorus of the song “Smoke”.
“Smoke” is the third track from the album to receive a video treatment. Earlier this month, Jaehyun has released a collaboration music video for two B-side tracks titled “Dandelion” and “Roses” as a pre-release project ahead of his solo debut.
'J' marks his official solo debut, though the singer has released several songs under his agency SM Station and NCT Lab, most recently 'Horizon', which he revealed last August NME in the previous interview was inspired by “horizontal moments when the views are truly calm and peaceful.”
