The Miami Dolphins are preparing to return to the football field, and superstar receiver Tyreek Hill will host the division rivals Buffalo Bills in a Week 2 matchup between two AFC Super Bowl contenders.
The Dolphins struggled against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 1, and Miami's usually potent offense struggled to consistently score points and looked like they were headed for a loss early in the 2024 NFL season.
Luckily for Miami, Hill's 80-yard touchdown run turned the game around for the Dolphins, who were able to rally and eventually beat Trevor Lawrence's team to start the season with a win over a formidable opponent.
In Week 2, the Dolphins will take on the Bills, who had a great offensive performance against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 1. Superstar quarterback Josh Allen threw four touchdowns to lead his team to victory.
This AFC East battle on Thursday Night Football will be a measure of both teams' success, but FOX Sports' Nick Wright says the Dolphins won't be up to the task because quarterback Tua Tagovailoa can't be counted on in big games like this one.
“I can't single Tua out in that spot. … In the biggest moments of his career, he's failed to deliver in any of them,” Wright said on “First Things First.”
“I can't single Tua out in that spot… He failed to excel in any of the most important moments of his career.”

One of the Dolphins' biggest weaknesses last season was that they had a hard time playing against tough opponents like the Bills, and they benefited from an otherwise easy schedule.
Those problems became apparent when they had no chance against the reigning Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs in the first round of the playoffs.
It will be interesting to see if anything changes at the start of the new season, with Buffalo looking to make a statement and Miami needing to prove its worth as a potential title contender.
