Samsung has started production One UI 6.1.1 update last week when it rolled out to the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Fold5 And Flip5 in Korea. Today, the implementation has expanded significantly.
There are reports from left and right that Galaxy S24, C24+And S24 Ultra The update is being received in the US, UK, continental Europe, and India.
The update brings more Galaxy AI features. Sketch to image lets you turn a simple drawing into a “captivating work of art,” and you can create a whole new look for your portraits. You can even “let your phone write for you,” thanks to AI. You can open the quick panel with just one tap, and you also have more control over the physical buttons.
The update weighs in at a whopping 3GB, so make sure you only download it over a fast enough network. Interestingly, it still advertises itself as One UI 6.1, even though it brings you the features that debuted in One UI 6.1.1 on Galaxy Z Fold6 And Flip6 last month.
Once you apply the update, you'll be on the August security patch, which means S24 phones should get another update this month that will take them to the September security patch. This also confirms the long-discussed delay in the release of this update, which was originally supposed to come out last month – hence it's coming with the August patch.
