We've already heard that OnePlus Ace 5 to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, update from Ace 3 which was bundled with the 8 Gen 2. If you're wondering where the Ace 4 went, it never existed due to tetraphobia.
Today, Digital Chat Station confirms the choice of 8 Gen 3 for the base model and reports that the Ace 5 Pro will feature a Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC. Both models will have at least 6,000 mAh batteries, flat metal frames, optical fingerprint scanners, and a high-performance BOE-made 8T LTPO â1.5Kâ OLED display.
OnePlus 12R aka OnePlus Ace 3
They will have a 50MP main rear camera and two additional cameras, but will not have a periscope telephoto lens (it seems that this is exclusive to the flagship series for now).
While the Ace 5 Pro will likely remain limited to the Chinese market for its entire existence, the Ace 5 will likely be rebranded as the OnePlus 13R in the international market and released at the same time OnePlus 13since the Ace 3 was sold outside of China as 12P.
