The 13 candidates for State Attorney General will appear before the State Congress.
Those seeking the position will appear before the Government and the Constitutional Points Commission.
This was stated by the head of the commission, legislator María Guadalupe Oyervides Valdés.
Board members explained they were working in accordance with the Attorney General's updated guidelines.
He explained that there were 13 applicants who submitted their applications to the authorized agency. They must appear before the Congress Local Government Committee, before selection.
According to the law, on October 8, the Attorney General's Office must have a new leader.
Oyervides Valdés added that, immediately after the appointment of the new social representative in the State, the process of selecting the Anti-Corruption Prosecutor will begin.
The call for this second official will be published in established media, he said.

He emphasized that the appointment of the two prosecutors was carried out legally and transparently, as stipulated by the current laws of Coahuila.
