The 2023-2024 season is coming to an end and the time has come for the national teams. Next week June 14th EuroCup 2024 and the captain of Sevilla FC, Jesus Navasis one of the footballers called up by Luis de la Fuente. The national coach has announced his pre-list of players who were called up on Monday morning. This includes the 38-year-old white-red right back, who could not play the last league match with Sevilla against Barcelona because he was recovering from a muscle strain. An injury that does not prevent him from playing for the senior team in Germany. It is the second time that the Los Palacios and Villafranca player plays in an edition of the European Championship. He already did it in 2012, a tournament that ended with the victory of the Spanish team.

Navas made his international debut in 2009 and has featured in 51 matches with the Spanish team so far. He was part of the team that did that was declared champion of the 2010 World Cup and he was also among those called up for the Nations League that Spain won a year ago. In fact, he is the only Spanish player to have won every possible title with his national team.

At Euro 2024, which will take place in Germany, the Spanish team will be in Group B together with Croatia, Italy and Albania.
