Actress Jennifer Lawrence, 34, will be a mother again, as she is expecting her second baby with husband, art dealer Cooke Maroney, 40.
The news was broken by American Vogue this Sunday, confirming that the actress's manager has confirmed the happy reveal.
“Congratulations to Jennifer Lawrence! The Oscar-winning actress is about to welcome her second child with her art gallery owner husband, Cooke Maroney,” the publication wrote. The couple, who married in October 2019, are already parents to 2-year-old Cy, whom they welcomed in February 2022.
In an interview last year with Interview Magazine, Lawrence spoke about how the birth of her first child shook her perception of fame and media.
“I did the best I could. I was so nervous when I was pregnant. The paparazzi were taking my photos and I was thinking, 'How am I not going to lose my mind with these people when they take my photos? My darling?'” the actress mused. “But once he was born, I realized that my energy was more important to him than anything else. If he felt that I was anxious before leaving the house or that I was angry when we went out, it would affect him when being photographed because I had no other choice.
