Sheinbaum celebrated the resumption of work on the Judiciary Council

After the Judicial Council ordered its officials to resume their work, following a work stoppage in protest against Judicial Branch reforms, Mexico's president, Claudia Sheinbaum, He celebrated the decision and even asked for “another round of applause for the House.”

“Yesterday they decided to return to work, the Judicial Council had a call to return to work. “There is an orientation that if you don't return to work, now there is a discount,” he commented in his press conference.

At the press conference, the President celebrated that work is starting to return to normal, at the same time he reiterated that next June elections will be held for judges, ministers and magistrates, and in September they will take office.

“It would be good if work was normalized, in June the vote and in September, new judges, justices and new ministers at the Supreme Court entered, in half the chambers,” he stressed.

Meanwhile, in a session of the Judicial Council, it was decided that activities should continue in all courts and tribunals in the country, with the same working conditions as before the cessation of work.
