Sixpence None Richer shared the song “We Are Love,” which became the first new song from the original lineup of the group in 20 years.
The song is the first offering from a new EP from the American alternative rock band, who are best known for their singles 'Kiss Me' (1998) and 'Breathe Your Name' (2002). Their new EP 'Rosemary Hill' is scheduled for release on October 4 via Flatiron Records. You can pre-order here.
On the song “We Are Love,” lead singer Leigh Nash sings, “Twangy acoustic guitar meets thunderous harmonies and razor-sharp electric guitar riffs”: “We are love, we can do it”
We are the chain you cannot break. / The long darkness has come. / But the hate here comes to the surface. / We are love, we can endure it.”
