Temperatures could exceed 37 degrees this weekend in Gran Canaria

The Government of the Canary Islands has the warning for maximum temperatures on the island of Gran Canaria, where temperatures can exceed 37ºC.

As reported by the Directorate General of Emergencies of the regional executive, the warning has already been issued episode of high temperatures in Gran Canaria, especially in the interior, the top and the southern half of the island, where maximum thermometers can reach or exceed 34 and 37ºC.

Activation of the warning by high temperatures on Gran Canaria this Saturday August 3rd starts at 10am and the island will be full of people for a weekend high risk and preventive measures.

The islands of Tenerife, La Palma, La Gomera and El Hierro, in turn, remain in a pre-alert situation due to maximum temperatures which will reach or exceed 30-34ºC in the midlands, the highlands and the peaks of the eastern, southern and western slopes.
