Texas Football Colorado State won 52-0 on Saturday. The Longhorns cruised to victory as quarterback Quinn Evers threw for 260 yards and three touchdowns in the win. Arch Manning also scored his first college touchdown in a Texas win. However, the Longhorns will face a much more formidable opponent in Week 2 at Michigan.
“I think good programs reboot. They have the players,” Texas Football Club head coach Steve Sarkisian said about Michigan after Saturday's game, via Inside Texas. “They know how to develop their players. They have a heck of a team, a heck of a roster.”
Michigan has lost head coach Jim Harbaugh and a number of influential players in the NFL. However, they are still the defending champions. Sarkisian knows Texas will need to play its best football to beat the Wolverines.
At this point, the Longhorns will be able to enjoy what was a truly dominant win. Texas played well in almost every aspect of the game. Colorado State wasn't much of a challenge, but the Longhorns still came out and played impressive football.
