City of Juarez.- Around 32 thousand Juarense citizens will benefit from the upcoming opening of the “El Mezquital” Administrative Unit, which will bring State Government services closer to residents in the southern part of the city, reducing waiting times and facilitating their transfers to receive care and manage procedures.
With an investment of more than 70 million pesos in the renovation works of the building, which will house departments such as Revenue Collection, Civil Registry and the Attorney General's Office, in addition to representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, among others, it seeks to create a comfortable place for users.
The Secretary of Communication and Public Works (SCOP), Jorge Chanez, stated that once the renovation is completed, residents of the sector will be able to process birth certificates and records, pay for services, obtain license plates and much more, without having to go to the José María Morelos y Pavón Unit, known as the “Pueblito Mexicano”.
He assured that the work would be done on time, for example, the Foreign Relations Office which already has a waiting room, administration area, and bathroom with complete facilities.
