After 13 hours of trial, Jose Luis GA was tried for the murder of three people last weekend on Anillo Perimetral Street.
While the defense argued that this was a fight, the Public Prosecutor's Office denied this, thereby linking it to a trial for three qualifying murders.
The trial began at approximately 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 28, and ended at approximately 11:00 p.m., when the judge connected Jose Luis to trial for the crime of qualifying triple murder.
It is important to underline that a complementary investigation continues in which the Public Ministry will seek more evidence to file formal charges for which the accused will be sentenced to up to 150 years in prison.
This means that from a minimum of 25 years to 50 years for each person who dies, because according to Article 127 of the Criminal Code the sentence is accumulated for each person, if they are found guilty.
Apart from the payment for repairing damage which can reach one million 244 thousand for each death, that is a minimum wage of 5,000 days.
Likewise, a 3-month complementary study was administered.
