The government raised its GDP growth forecast for 2025 to 2.4% and 2026 to 2.2%.

The Council of Ministers approved an upward revision of the macroeconomic outlook, forecasting growth of 2.7% for this year and increasing the forecast for the next two years by two-tenths.

“Spain maintains strong, balanced and responsible growth, leading among the major countries in the eurozone,” the government defended on Tuesday, as it revised the country’s economic projections for the second time in just two months.
