On Thursday, the 19th, it was revealed that the United States Attorney's Office requested a life sentence for Genaro García Luna, former Minister of Public Security.
In a published letter, the prosecution reiterates that García Luna was a security commander for more than a decade, responsible for commanding the federal police and the fight against drug trafficking.
