Short film “A canvas of memories”, which pays tribute to the life and work of the Coahuila painter Mercedes Murguia, just received Merit Award in the Best International Shorts Competition.
It wasn't until early September that the film was also selected to participate in Fotogenia International Festival of Cinepoetry and Divergent Narrativeanother example of the quality of the work. This event will take place from November 21 to 30.
He Best Shorts Competition is a festival that awards short films from around the world since 2011. Thousands of productions compete each year through a judging system that seeks excellence. Those who do not fall into either category receive feedback on their work through the same system.

Directed by The spirit of Guillermo Guajardos, with action Monica Almanza and Juliana Pugliesegrandson of the artist, this short film is part of this year's selection and is therefore one of the examples of excellence along with other representatives of United States, Australia, Poland, Spain, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, Canada, Armenia, Hong Kong, Italy, Peru and Georgia, among others.
