City of Juarez.- Dozens of people gathered today in Plaza Juan Gabriel at the Third Wrestling Festival.
This event took place in celebration of Wrestling Day which was established on this border on September 25.
José Pacheco “Pagano”, the event organizer, commented that around 120 local wrestlers, from Mexico and other countries, will perform.
He said there would be a small ring for children, as well as a museum dedicated to the sport.
Additionally, there will be a tribute to Edie Guerrero.
Also a great fight at 6:45 p.m., and there will be 9 arenas in Ciudad Juárez throughout the day.
Last year between 8,000 and 10,000 people attended the festival over a 10-hour period, Pacheco said.
This event starts at 12.00 noon and will end at 12.00 midnight.
