British Prime Minister Keir Starmer this week opened in Brussels with new negotiations to reach a deal with the EU that would ease the impact of Brexit without unduly angering minority groups who support Britain's isolation. On the table are study and work visas for those under 30 years old.
The new Labor government and the European Commission are negotiating new mechanisms so that young Europeans can stay for a limited time in the UK to learn English or work, and British citizens can do the same in an EU country of their choice.
