The UN Security Council gives the green light to the US proposal for a ceasefire in Gaza

UN security council approved the ceasefire proposal this Monday with 14 positive votes and Russia's abstention the President of the United States, Joe Bidenfor the Gaza Strip.

This approach includes a “total and complete ceasefire”the release of hostages held by Palestinian militias, the handover of hostages' bodies and the release of Palestinian prisoners.

I am divided three phases: The first phase provides for the exchange of hostages for prisoners and a short-term ceasefire. The second provides for a “permanent cessation of hostilities” and the complete withdrawal of Israeli forces from Gaza, according to the text of the resolution presented by the United States. The third and final phase includes a multi-year reconstruction plan for the Gaza Strip.
