The universal inheritance of our parents

At the last general election Sumar suggested introducing universal inheritance. The idea was not new. It is a proposal by Thomas Piketty that proposes dividing inheritances to put an end to the reproduction of capital income, which grows much faster than labor income. This way we would all inherit some of the wealth, not just those who have rich parents.

To have an effect on inequality, this redistribution must take place at the beginning of life. Without that impetus, when young people reach the age of inheritance, inequality is so great that it can no longer be resolved.
