They found six Colombian women deprived of their freedom in Veracruz

On the afternoon of Tuesday, October 1, the Attorney General's Office (FGE). Veracruz reported that six Colombian women that was found deprived of his freedom.

FGE Veracruz reports that, as a result of investigative actions, a police operation was carried out in the Las Vegas neighborhood, in the municipality of Boca del Río.

During operations in the area, the Colombian victims were located and released.

The Veracruz Prosecutor's Office will continue the necessary procedures to clarify the facts and assure that there will be no impunity in this case.

The release of the Colombian teenage girl was also confirmed by the Colombian president, Gustavo Petro.

“Six teenage girls from Medellín, who went missing in the Mexican port of Veracruz, have been rescued in an operation by a special team,” he said via his X social network.
