The warning from Conagua was directed to five states, Nayarit, Colima, Michoacán, Jalisco and Guerrero due to occasional heavy to heavy rains.

Additionally, wind gusts of 40 to 60 km/h and waves of 1 to 3 meters high are expected in Jalisco, Colima, Michoacán and Guerrero.

Tomorrow, Wednesday, the storm could be upgraded to a category 1 hurricane around 06.00 and by 18.00 it is expected to become a category 2. On Thursday, the category will increase to a category 3, and weaken over the weekend.
