During a visit to the country, TUI CEO Sebastian Ebel said the company hoped to “increase the number of guests” heading to the country.
TUI also hopes to expand its own portfolio in the country, where it currently operates 33 hotels and resorts with a total of about 25,000 beds, including two that opened this year.
With this expansion, TUI hopes to make Turkey, famous for its Aegean and Mediterranean beaches, a more attractive holiday destination all year round, with a particular focus on winter and autumn visits.
