A partner fully captured auto parts theft around a shopping plaza in Querétaro.

According to the first reports, through the C4 Querétaro video surveillance cameras, two people were surprised while stealing car parts in the vicinity of a shopping center located in the Centro Sur neighborhood, in the municipality of Querétaro.

In the clip published by the Secretariat of Public Security of the Municipality of Querétaro (SSPMQ), a white van is seen parked behind the already parked vehicles. A woman and a man get out of the unit.

Then, the woman left the passenger door open, while the man was on the ground removing the spare tire from the parked unit. After reaching their destination, they fled the scene.

However, after being caught on C4 camera, the city police were alerted to the couple's suspicious criminal activity and arrived at the scene. Where a few moments later, they intercepted the white van and arrested the couple.

Based on information from SSPMQ, the suspects are suspected of being linked to previous car parts thefts in the area.

The detained couple were sent to the relevant Prosecutor's Unit, which will determine their legal situation.
