Iran apparently warned Israel that it would “cut off the hands and feet” of those who attack or invade the country. This statement came after murder Hezbollah leader Hasan Nasrallah and Iranian Revolutionary Guard brigadier general Abbas Nilforushan.
During a press conference, Naser Kananí, spokesman for Iran's Foreign Ministry, stated that they would give “a response that will be regrettable for those who They violate our national interests and we will cut off the attacker's hands and feet,” in response to a question about Tehran's possible reaction to the death.
Kananí further stressed that the deaths of Nasrallah and General Nilforushan in Beirut “will not go unpunished.” “This regime will not be left alone for the crimes he committed against Iran,” he stressed.
The spokesperson also stated that Tehran would take “any action based on international law”, without ruling out a response to the “Zionist regime”.
Finally, the diplomat asked Islamic countries to act firmly against Israel. “Islamic countries have the ability to withstand countless pressures and punish this regime,” he said.
