There are currently specialized Doctor Doom and the Avengers chests V Fortnite with a certain amount of prey in them as part Chapter 5 Season 4 Season of Absolute Doom One of the Kickstart quests encourages you to find them in exchange for experience, but there's some pretty good loot inside them too.
These huge loot chests are similar to those we've seen in previous seasons, such as the faction chests or the IO supply chests in Chapter 2. As expected from these larger, harder to find chests, they seem to drop more items than regular chests.
Below we will explain where to find Doctor Doom and Avengers chests in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4.
Where to find Doctor Doom and Avengers chests
The best way to quickly find these chests is to go to any points of interestIt doesn't have to be one of the new four points of interest (Doomstadt, Doom's Courtyard, Castle Doom, or The Raft), as we've been able to find Avengers chests at Reckless Railways, Sandy Steppes, and the Nitrodome.
If you land at a point of interest and don't find a chest, just head to another one and you might find some gold. You can also find a few chests in non-POI areas. For example, we found Dr. Doom's chest just south of Grim Gate, guarded by a few NPC enemies.
If you're just looking for that new gear (wow, that Captain America shield is a little broken!), we recommend landing at older POIs rather than the new ones that were added this season. Since players are eager to check out the new POIs, the older ones tend to be less crowded, so there's less competition for loot and potential eliminations.
We're not 100% sure if the following is true, but based on our matches, Doctor Doom chests were more likely to spawn at new POIs (Doomstadt, Doom's Court, Castle Doom, and The Raft), while Avengers chests were more likely to spawn at older POIs.
