Tropical Storm 'John' landed at noon in Aquila, Michoacán, putting some areas on alert this Friday, September 27, reports National Water Commission (Conagua).
According to Conagua, 'John', which transformed from a hurricane to a tropical storm, is now located 26 kilometers east of Punta San Telmo, Michoacán, and 140 kilometers southeast of Manzanillo, Colima.
Although this phenomenon exhibits variable and slow-moving behavior, state and municipal authorities are calling on states to do so Oaxaca, Guerrero, Michoacán, Colima and Jalisco Take extreme precautions due to heavy or extraordinary rain, landslides, floods, and flooding of rivers and streams.
