On a regional train in Ortenau district, a woman attacked two other passengers and slightly injured them with a sharp object. According to police, it is still unclear what the background to the attack was that morning. It said the woman appeared confused and ran away from the train in Offenburg.
First, there was an argument between the woman and other passengers on the train between Gengenbach and Offenburg. Suddenly the first person took out a knife or similar object from his jacket and stabbed the other. He was injured in the leg.
The perpetrator then hit another woman as the train entered Offenburg station and injured her arm with a sharp object before she ran away.
