In the midst of amazement Fabiola's complaint Yáñez against Alberto Fernández for sexist violence, representatives of the feminist movement and Peronism supported the ex-partner of the former Argentine president. In addition, they warn against opportunism and political use by right-wing leaders to vilify the defunct Ministry of Women, Gender and Diversity and the gains achieved thanks to the green tide.
This Tuesday, Yáñez denounced the former Peronist president for gender violence before the Julián Ercolini court, in a virtual hearing from Spain. For now, the magistrate has ruled that Fernández cannot approach his ex-partner within 500 meters, but that he can be in contact with his two-year-old son, through Fabiola's mother. The former head of state, who cannot leave the country, has denied these accusations.
