Britain’s Got Talent judge Amanda Holden appeared to be ignoring recent events on Sunday as she cheekily compared her dinner to a peachy part of her anatomy. The 53-year-old mum of two took to her Instagram to share a picture of her meal with her 2.2 million followers.
She captioned it: “What a find! One of the best pubs ever @therunninghorsepub,” before going on to compare the shape of the Yorkshire pudding to her derriere. “This Yorkshire was literally the size of my [peach emoji].”
The breezy post comes a day after music mogul Sharon Osbourne issued an open letter to the talent show judge via social media. Amanda had branded Sharon and her X Factor co-judge Louis Walsh “bitter and pathetic” after their comments about music mogul Simon in the Celebrity Big Brother house.
She told MailOnline in an interview published on Friday: “I hated seeing certain people in a reality show dissing Simon – he’s the person who’s given them all the chances, given them a lot of money and a lifestyle they probably wouldn’t have had.
“It’s bitter and pathetic. It was like Cinderella with her two sisters in the background – just stabby, stabby, stabby.”
Sharon, 71, retaliated with a lengthy statement after taking issue with Amanda’s claim that Simon gave her “all the chances, a lot of money and a lifestyle they probably wouldn’t have had”.
“The truth is, you don’t know me, Amanda, or any of my close friends,” she wrote across all her social media paltforms. “You know nothing about my history in the music industry, my achievements, the artists I have worked with, the shows that I have produced and my global celebrity.
“Unlike you, the brand of Sharon Osbourne is known worldwide,” she wrote. “There are many countries that I could work in if I choose to, however, I don’t have the ambition or time to do so… the truth is, my money and success were not due to doing a couple of Simon Cowell talent shows.
“Don’t get me wrong, I enjoyed doing them at the time as they were great fun. Yes, Simon paid me very well. Probably more than what you are receiving today, but all of that my darling went on a few handbags…
“No disrespect to Simon Cowell, but he NEEDED ME for musical credibility on X Factor and I delivered for him and together all of us made a great team.”
This is the second time Amanda has appeared to highlight her rear in response to Sharon’s comments.
On Saturday (April 14), after the news of the feud broke, Amanda reposted a picture of herself from a pap who had tagged her after taking a photo of her.
In the snap, Amanda was pictured turning her head over her sholder to face the camera in a chic blue suit and black sunglasses as she smiled from ear-to-ear, with her bum highlighted in her fitted pants.
This furore comes as Amanda gets set to return to screens in the new series of Britain’s Got Talent, which kicks off on ITV next Saturday (March 20).
