King Charles and Queen Camilla waved to well-wishers outside by Balmoral on Sunday, having arrived at the Scottish estate on Thursday to celebrate their 19th wedding anniversary.
The couple were being driven to Crathie Kirk for the Sunday morning service on His Majesty’s first visit to the country since being diagnosed with cancer.
Charles and Camilla have been spending time together resting and recuperating in-between the King’s cancer treatments, which he continues to receive in London.
Seeing the King out and about has been a huge boost for the Royal Family since Princess Kate broke the news that she too is being treated for cancer in March.
He was able to attend a scaled-back Easter Sunday service at St George’s Chapel in Windsor, while the Waleses stayed away as they remain out of the spotlight.
