This Morning’s Josie Gibson was asked out on a date just days after she was spotted cosying up to Stephen Mulhern.
Josie, 39, joined Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley on Tuesday’s instalment (April 16) of This Morning as she shared the latest competition details with viewers. The Big Brother star hosted live from the Kennet and Avon Canal in Wiltshere where she was joined by three men from the Canal & River Trust.
The I’m A Celebrity star revealed a huge £72,000 is up for grabs before asking the three men how they would spend the money.
One responded: “I would like to invite you out for dinner, Josie.” The presenter giggled: “Me? Still got it!”
Josie added: “You might not have a lot of change left after £72,000.” Back in the studio, Ben claimed that Josie is the real “big winner” if she’s scored a date.
The Tipping Point presenter told Cat: “I’m not sure if you heard, the lock keeper asked her out on a date. He wants to take her for dinner.” An intrigued Cat responded: “We’ll follow that one. Good luck with the competition and good luck with that Josie.”
It comes after Josie was seen walking hand-in-hand with Dancing on Ice presenter Stephen. The duo were spotted cosying up as they headed towards the set of Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway on Saturday (April 13).
Asked about their relationship status, Josie told MailOnline: “I’m in love with Stephen Mulhern. There you go. But story of my life, I don’t think he loves me.”
Last year, Josie admitting she was in the early stages of romance with an unknown man, saying: “There is someone in my life at the moment but it’s early stages…I’ve said I love you.”
The TV star added: “It’s best to just get it out of the way, I don’t like playing games.” Fans were convinced that Josie was dating a camera man named Sam Porter but she quickly shut down speculation.
Josie said: “I am not in a relationship, neither am I in love with cameraman Sam. I am not with Sam Morter… I love Sam Morter, he is my work colleague, I’m like his older sister. I’m like his auntie. That’s as far as it goes.”
