Democrats are making a sincere effort to flip North Carolina from red to blue, but it doesn't seem to be producing the results they were hoping for.
Donald Trump leads Kamala Harris in the state, according to a new poll.
Moreover, Trump is leading in key electoral blocs.
Breitbart News reports:
TIPP Poll: Trump Leads Harris by 3 Points in North Carolina
Former President Donald Trump leads Vice President Kamala Harris in North Carolina by three points, wider than his 2020 victory in the state, according to an American Greatness/TIPP poll released Friday.
Survey selected 1,037 registered voters from Sept. 9 to 11, with a margin of error of 3.2 percentage points. The poll overlapped with the Sept. 10 presidential debate.
The poll showed Trump leading by three points:
- Trump: 48.9%
- Harris: 45.9%
Trump also did well among certain demographic groups in the state:
- Among those who call themselves independent: 10% of the leadership
- Among white voters: 61%
- Among Hispanics: 43%
American Greatness analyzed its findings:
On the issue side, the economy and immigration remain by far the top two issues on voters' minds. Fifty-six percent of voters there say they were “better off” when Trump was in office, versus 34 percent who say they are better off now. On border security, 45y The president gets a big lead of +22%, 57-35% over Harris. On national security issues, voters trust Trump more, 51-40% over Harris.
It is important to note that this survey is considered reliable.
NC may not be as sure a candidate for Harris to win as she thinks. A new TIPP poll flips Trump's lead by 3 points. TIPP is another one of those reliable pollsters (in terms of accuracy), and their result looks like a 2-point Trafalgar lead for Trump. https://t.co/PBUIawqB0I
