Laura Woods has announced her engagement to her partner Adam Collard.
Former talkSPORT presenter who also must give birth to a child from her fiancemade the announcement in a touching Instagram post on Monday.
Posting a video of Collard getting down on one knee in St Ives, she wrote: 'And just like that… [ring emoji]. You make me happy @adamcollard.
“Thank you @carbisbayestate the place we fell in love and now the place we got engaged you made it so special. What a summer x.”
Along with the video, a series of touching photos of Woods and Collard celebrating their engagement were released.
They went public with their relationship in October 2023 and announced that they were having a baby together in July.
She was present on TV screens during Euro 2024, working for ITV, and also covered the Olympic Games for Eurosport in August.
Collard rose to fame after appearing in the fourth season of Love Island, which aired in 2018 and was won by Dani Dyer and Jack Fincham.
The 27-year-old admitted that he was the one who contacted Woods on Instagram.
“I followed her on Instagram because I saw the Lionesses game or something, and then I DM'd her because she posted a funny meme on her story,” he said.
“I'll raise my hands, yes, I admit it, even though she's scolded me for it many times.”
Woodsy was an integral part of talkSPORT's excellent presenting team and shared Breakfast Show hosting duties with Alan Brazil for three years before leaving in 2023.
