As reported at the time, around 1 a.m. Tuesday, police officer Francisco Ismael Aguilar Gallegos and his partner stopped the driver of a white Chevrolet Matiz at the intersection of Juárez and Nogalar avenues, where the El Secreto residential complex is located in Torreón.

After violating city traffic rules, and when they started talking to the driver, they noticed that he was blowing strong alcohol, so according to the breathalyzer test, he was driving under the influence of first degree. whose driver's license was confiscated and the traffic officers requested a tow truck to transport the vehicle to the paddock.

When the vehicle was about to be put on the tow truck, the driver behaved violently, hit his own car, then attacked police officer Ismael together with the attendant, kicking him several times in the chest, after which both attackers fled. position the vehicle in a pedestrian manner.

Ismael – visibly affected – decided to go with his partner to the Directorate of Road and Urban Mobility to make a report on what happened, and around three in the morning, when he was writing, he felt bad, fainted, and died on the spot.
