At the plenary session of the Security and Justice Board in Torreón, Jiménez Salinas highlighted the results of the National Survey of Victimization and Perception of Public Security (ENVIPE), where Coahuila appears as the safest state in the northern part of the country. national level is the third, only under Baja California Sur and Yucatan.

On the other hand, the same survey indicates that the entity is in second place with the largest increase in the proportion of the population feeling safe in their environment, by 6.3 percentage points. as the number of people who said they felt safe increased from 53.7 percent to 60.0 percent.

The head of state met with General Alberto Ibarra Flores, commander of the 11th military district, and his task forces, where they agreed to continue to strengthen the security of Coahuila through special and coordinated operations in all regions.
