A Sports Committee of the Chamber of Deputies approve a bill that can prohibits the sale, distribution and possession of alcoholic beverages in national professional football championships, amending General Sports Law.
If definitively approved, the project would standardize restrictions at soccer stadiums in Brazil, which currently follow state and city regulations.
The approved text is a substitute for the Rapporteur, Deputy Delegado da Cunha (PP-SP), to Bill 4272/19retains the advantages of the initial proposal, but brings additional changes.
Among these changes, the ban on the sale and possession of glass bottles within a radius of up to 500 meters of sports arenas, on match days of national and regional football championships, stands out.
