A student said at school that she was raped by her father in Itapema, on the North Coast of Santa Catarina. The 14 year old teenager reported that the crime occurred in the early hours of Tuesday (5) morning. The school management called the Military Police and the man was arrested.

The PM became aware of this case when the pedagogical supervisor called 190. The student's mother was also called and confirmed this fact. The woman said she would report the man, but did not do so at night precisely because she was afraid, because her partner was acting strangely.
The mother and daughter were taken home, where the father was and detained. Police said he was dodging and shaking the entire time. The military recorded the case as rape of a vulnerable person and psychological violence. According to the victim, the man was a drug user.
Civil Police reported that his arrest was maintained. He will undergo a custody hearing this Wednesday (6).
