A man was caught driving his car in Ruse after taking drugs, said regional spokesperson for the Interior Ministry in the Danube city, Daniela Malcheva.
The case is from yesterday afternoon. A police team stopped the car for inspection on Tutrakan Blvd in Ruse. A 31-year-old Russian man was behind the wheel. He was tested for alcohol and drug use, and on a second examination, the kit tested positive for amphetamines.
The driver is given a voucher for a medical examination, he gives samples at the hospital. The car was handed over to the police. In this case, a fast-track process is initiated for the crime committed.
BTA reminded us, according to data from the District Court in Ruse last year punishment has been imposed in the region of the 149 drivers who used alcohol or drugs.
