After a homemade speed camera made of cardboard was discovered in Upper Bavaria, police are investigating the person who displayed it. A patrol discovered the device next to federal highway 16 near Oberhausen (Neuburg-Schrobenhausen district), police said. Therefore, the structure is made of cardboard with a three-legged tripod and a large red circle on the front.

Police said the homemade cardboard speed cameras “provide the appearance of official speed measurements from a certain distance.” Therefore, an investigation is now being carried out for official allegations. Initially it was still unclear who erected the cardboard construction.
