Marcin Wiącek and Monika Horna-Cieślak addressed their letter to the Prime Minister, as the issues they referred to were within the competence of many ministers. The reason for the appeal was the fact that in recent months, many cases of unaccompanied foreign children crossing the Polish-Belarusian border irregularly have been reported to the Children's Ombudsman and the Ombudsman. They include citizens of Somalia, Sudan, Ethiopia and Yemen. These children are detained by Border Guards.
