Botafogo beat Vasco 3-0, at the Nilton Santos stadium, in the 32nd round of the Brazilian Championship, and increased their lead at the top of the competition to six points, with 67 to 61 for second-placed Palmeiras. Cruzmaltino remains in 9th place with 43 points. Savarino, Luiz Henrique and Júnior Santos scored for Glorioso.
